24 boys from Mykolaiv and Nova Odesa take part in 32 classes a year, learning a trade and building character alongside mentors. All equipment and materials are provided free of charge. Ukrainians across the country endure shelling every day, leading to chronic stress, emotional exhaustion, and declining physical health’y. The constant threat to life causes anxiety, depression, and loss of inner strength, making normal life in wartime much more difficult.

To train boys aged 8-12 in carpentry, electricity, and cooking alongside experienced mentors who pass on craft, character, and values.
The project also aims to support mental health, helping participants to reboot, find inner peace and gain strength for life in war.

Successes achieved
- The project was launched in 2024 in Nova Odesa
- 24 boys ages 8–12 regularly participate in the classes
- More than 60 workshops were held in three areas
- 4 offsite two-day meetings with mentors were organized
- Each participant made their own product and took it home
- A team of experienced male mentors has been formed
Need
The funds will go to: Utility costs, Nutrition.
- Equipment and tools (carpentry, electrical, kitchen)
- Materials: wood, fasteners, electrical components, products
- Logistics: transportation between Mykolaiv and Nova Odesa
- Meals: Lunches at two-day offsite meetings (2×/year)
- Administration: coordination and communication with parents
- Additional activities: outings, contests, celebrations
Total: UAH 140,000 per year.

We are looking for partners for the full-fledged work of Daddy's Workshop. Any support - one-time or regular - brings the project closer to the new school year.
