The LDS Church's project is aimed at social and spiritual support for those affected by the war in Ukraine. It combines the resources of different levels of the church organization to provide assistance to military personnel, their families, internally displaced persons (IDPs) and the population affected by the war.
Project goal
- Provide support to victims of war through social, spiritual, and practical activities.
- To turn UUA communities into centers of healing, wholeness and grace.
- To help people restore their mental balance and integrate into society.

Project implementation
Areas of activity
- Restoration of the soul: spiritual and social recovery programs.
- Rehabilitation: psychological assistance, a massage room, healthy lifestyle programs, and sanatorium treatment.
- Spiritual support: meetings with pastors, themed services, and evangelistic events.
- Practical help: humanitarian support, legal assistance, camps for children, hospital visits.
Steps to start the project
- Holding a series of meetings, online conferences, and trainings for leaders and coordinators.
- Project launch in February 2025 in 200 communities.
Visualization
- Designing a logo, promotional materials, badges, and clothing layouts for teams.
- Creating a website and telegram channel for coordinators.
Materials for implementation
- Methodological manuals, program catalogs, trainings for community leaders.
- Learning to communicate with the target audience.
Need
Distribution of funds
- Union of Ukrainian Conferences (UUC): UAH 10,000.
- Conference: 15,000 UAH.
- Community: 5,000 UAH.
- Total amount of funding for one Gospel project (GP): 40,000 UAH.
Additional costs
- Preparation of materials, training of teams, visualization.
Project impact
- Training of church members: Develop communication, service, and relationship-building skills with the target audience.
- Involvement in service: Church members will be able to more actively influence society through participation in social and spiritual initiatives.
- Results: Evangelistic programs, increasing the number of community members, supporting society according to the method of Christ.
