How can I share a link to a website so that it opens immediately in Bulgarian?

The internet today has become one of the main tools for spreading the biblical message. Websites, apps, and digital assistants allow people to study Scripture in their native language, ask questions about faith, and find answers based on the Bible. In this context, even such a technical question as the ability to open a website immediately in a certain language has missionary significance. If a person gains access to spiritual content in a language they understand, the likelihood that they will truly read and understand biblical truth increases significantly.

The gospel for every nation and language

The Bible clearly says that God’s message is intended for all people. In the book of Revelation we read: “Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth—to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people” (Revelation 14:6).

This text emphasizes the universality of God’s message. It is not limited to one culture or language. Therefore, Bible translation, the creation of Christian websites in different languages, and the ability to easily share links in the needed language are all modern tools for fulfilling the Great Commission.

If a website allows a page to open immediately in a certain language (for example, through a parameter in the link), this helps people immediately find themselves in an environment they can understand. For missionary work, this can be very useful: a person receives information without unnecessary barriers.

The principle of the apostle Paul: speaking in an understandable language

The apostle Paul described an important missionary principle: “I have become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some” (1 Corinthians 9:22).

This means that the preacher of the gospel seeks to communicate the truth in a way the listener can understand. Language is one of the key parts of this process. If a person encounters an unfamiliar language, they may quickly lose interest or simply fail to grasp the meaning.

On the Day of Pentecost, we see how God Himself took care of this. Scripture says: “Each one heard them speaking in his own language” (Acts 2:6–8). People from different countries heard God’s message in their own language.

Today technology performs a similar function. Translations, automated systems, and language settings help bring biblical truth to people around the world.

Digital tools and the mission of the Church

The Adventist Church has historically made active use of technology to spread the truth. First there were printed publications, then radio and television, and today—the internet.

Ellen White wrote about the importance of using available means to spread the light: “We must use every means that can help bring the truth to people” (the sense is expressed in various counsels regarding publishing ministry).

Modern websites, Bible platforms, and apps allow people to ask spiritual questions and receive answers based on Scripture. If such resources are available in different languages and make it easy to share links, this greatly expands their missionary potential.

For example, if a link can contain a language parameter (for example, the designation “bg” for Bulgarian), then the person who receives the link will immediately see the interface in their own language. This reduces confusion and makes interaction with the resource easier.

If, however, the language is saved only in the browser settings (through cookies), then the link itself will not carry over that setting. In that case, website developers may need to add a special language parameter to the page address.

Why language accessibility matters for spiritual growth

When a person reads the Bible or spiritual material in their native language, they perceive the truth more deeply. Understanding the text directly affects spiritual growth.

Even small technical details—for example, the ability to open a website immediately in the needed language—can play an important role. Imagine a person who received a link from a friend. If the page opens immediately in a language they understand, they are more likely to stay and read the content.

Thus, technical solutions become part of missionary service. They help remove barriers between a person and biblical truth.

Conclusion.

God desires the gospel to reach every nation and language. Today the internet and digital technologies have become important tools for carrying out this mission. The ability to share links that open in the needed language helps people become acquainted with biblical truth more quickly and easily.

The practical application is simple: if you are sharing a spiritual resource or Bible website, try to send the link so that the person opens it in their own language. This is a small but important step that may help someone begin studying God’s Word and draw closer to Christ.

The mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church is to convey the message of God's great love for every person, leading them to accept Jesus as their personal Savior, which in turn motivates every believer to make changes in their own lives and serve God and their neighbors.
