\u201cFor by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.\u201d Eph 2:8-9<\/a><\/cite><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

From the perspective of Adventist theology, faith always responds to God\u2019s initiative. We do not produce it by ourselves. The Lord is already at work through His Word, the Holy Spirit, providence, and fulfilled prophecies.
