The same God who said, \u201cLet there be light,\u201d and light came into being\u2014now speaks through the pages of Scripture to the human heart. <b>Every reading of the Bible is a potential encounter with the One who stands behind it.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>That is why people in different times and different circumstances opened the same verse\u2014and received something different, yet always precise and alive. God speaks personally through the Word.<\/p>\n<h2>\u201cActive\u201d\u2014it does not observe, it changes<\/h2>\n<p>The Greek word \u201cenerges\u201d (active) is the same root as \u201cenergy.\u201d The Word of God is not passive. It does not merely convey information\u2014 <b>it is able to change a person<\/b>. To convict. To heal. To set free. To call to repentance. To give birth to new hope.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cSo shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me empty, but it shall accomplish what I desire.\u201d <cite><a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Isaiah+55%3A11&amp;version=UKR\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Isaiah 55:11<\/a><\/cite><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2>\u201cSharper than a two-edged sword\u201d\u2014precision and penetration<\/h2>\n<p>A two-edged sword cuts in both directions. Nothing can protect against it\u2014neither armor nor distance. The author says: <b>The Word of God penetrates where a person cannot look on his own<\/b> \u2014into the \u201cthoughts and intentions of the heart.\u201d It sees the real condition of the soul\u2014not the declared one, but the true one.<\/p>\n<h2>Practical meaning<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Open the Bible not as a textbook, but as a conversation with God\u2014expect that He will say something specifically to you today.<\/li>\n<li>If the Word has touched something painful\u2014do not withdraw. That is exactly where healing begins.<\/li>\n<li>\u201cLiving and active\u201d means: you do not need to be a theologian for the Word of God to touch your heart. Only openness is needed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>The Word of God is not an archive and not a code of laws.
