Ellen White knew this not only in theory: she traveled for years, experienced separations, and wrote about it honestly.<\/p>\n<h2>Loneliness does not mean being abandoned by God<\/h2>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThe Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside still waters.\u201d <cite><a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Psalm+23%3A1-2&amp;version=UKR\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ps. 23:1\u20132<\/a><\/cite><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>White emphasized: <b>even when a person is physically alone, God is present.<\/b> Not as a feeling that is always there, but as a reality that sustains us even when a person does not feel it. This is important: in loneliness we may not feel God, but He is there.<\/p>\n<h2>What helps in loneliness<\/h2>\n<p>From her letters and the Testimonies, White drew several specific practices:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Prayer as conversation, not ritual.<\/b> Speak to God as to One who is Present\u2014not formally, but sincerely, with pain and questions.<\/li>\n<li><b>The Word of God as a living voice.<\/b> Read the Psalms in loneliness\u2014where David pours out exactly what you feel\u2014and find yourself in his words.<\/li>\n<li><b>Service to others.<\/b> White repeatedly wrote: the best remedy for loneliness is to find someone even lonelier and be with them.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Christ\u2014experienced in loneliness<\/h2>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cHe is despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.\u201d <cite><a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Isaiah+53%3A3&amp;version=UKR\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Isa. 53:3<\/a><\/cite><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Jesus experienced loneliness\u2014and not only in Gethsemane, but throughout His whole ministry. <b>He knows from the inside what it means to be misunderstood, abandoned.<\/b> Therefore, He can be near in loneliness not as theoretical comfort, but as One who truly knows.<\/p>\n<p><b>Loneliness is painful. But it can also become a place of meeting with God\u2014where, when there is nothing else, there is only Him.
