It means not merely the absence of conflict, but <b>fullness of well-being<\/b>: relationships, health, material prosperity, spiritual wholeness \u2014 all of this is included in shalom. Jesus gives this very shalom to the disciples.<\/p>\n<h2>The Greek \u03b5\u1f30\u03c1\u03ae\u03bd\u03b7 (eirene) \u2014 the peace of Christ<\/h2>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cAnd the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.\u201d <cite><a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Philippians+4:7&amp;version=UKR\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Phil 4:7<\/a><\/cite><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The Greek <i>eirene<\/i> \u2014 is the equivalent of shalom. Paul describes it as a power that guards the heart and mind. <b>True security in Christ is not a condition of circumstances<\/b>, but a gift of the Spirit that surpasses logic.<\/p>\n<h2>Practical meaning<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cSecurity\u201d in the Bible is not a wall, but a relationship with God, who is stronger than any threat.<\/li>\n<li>It is available even in tribulation \u2014 because it is grounded not in circumstances, but in the character of God.<\/li>\n<li>Prayer is the way to <i>betach<\/i>: trusting calm that does not depend on context.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>True security is not the absence of the storm.
