Early Adventists were to go beyond their congregations to unknown places.<\/li>\n<li><b>Relocation for material gain<\/b> \u2014 she warned against it. She considered the desire for a \u201cbetter life\u201d without a spiritual dimension to be dangerous.<\/li>\n<li><b>Relocation for safety and circumstances<\/b> \u2014 she considered it in the context of God\u2019s providence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cLet not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.\u201d <cite><a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=John+14:1&amp;version=UKR\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">John 14:1<\/a><\/cite><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2>The key question is motive<\/h2>\n<p>White often framed the question this way: <b>\u201cWhere is God calling you, rather than where do you want to go?\u201d<\/b> Israel in Egypt is a vivid example of a move that began with rescue and ended in slavery. Motive and direction matter.<\/p>\n<h2>God\u2019s providence is not tied to geography<\/h2>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWhere can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence?\u201d <cite><a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Psalm+139:7&amp;version=UKR\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ps 139:7<\/a><\/cite><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>White supported the understanding that God is not confined within the borders of one country. He is the Guide both where you begin and where you arrive. <b>Faithfulness to God is not tied to the place of passport registration.<\/b><\/p>\n<h2>Practical meaning<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Before deciding to move: \u201cWhy am I moving?
