This is entirely realistic: the corruption of the merchants in the court quickly returned, and Jesus ministered through several Passovers.<\/p>\n<p><b>Option 2: John\u2019s theological arrangement.<\/b> John is known for selecting material and arranging it in a way that reflects a theological purpose rather than a strictly chronological one. Placing the cleansing at the beginning emphasizes: <i>from the very beginning Jesus comes as Judge and Restorer of Worship<\/i>.<\/p>\n<h2>What the text shows<\/h2>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cZeal for Your house will consume Me.\u201d <cite><a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=John+2:17&amp;version=UKR\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">John 2:17<\/a><\/cite><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The disciples remembered Psalm 69:9. Jesus did not come with soft compromise, but with zeal for what the place of worship should be. <b>Regardless of the chronology, the theological meaning is the same<\/b>: money and trade have no place where a person meets with God.<\/p>\n<h2>Practical meaning<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cContradictions\u201d between the Gospels are often different theological emphases, not errors.<\/li>\n<li>Divine inspiration does not mean one chronological order\u2014it means reliability and spiritual truthfulness.<\/li>\n<li>A message for us: is there anything in the \u201chouse of our heart\u201d that Christ would want to cleanse?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Jesus overturning the tables of the money changers does not contradict Jesus embracing children.
